Vision 2050 Draft Growth Plan & Recommendations
Vision 2050 is Nassau County’s long-range plan to guide growth, policies, and programs over the next 25 years. It was developed over two years with extensive community input—including surveys, events, and presentations during the County’s 2024 Bicentennial—and reflects residents’ priorities for a vibrant and high-quality future.

Vision 2032 Implementation Update
Community Memorandum
The community memorandum provides the existing conditions of the county. This memorandum includes a review of demographics, development trends, and community plans to provide an understanding of where Nassau is today.
Draft Community Building Blocks
The Building Blocks are key themes heard from the community through civic engagement and a review of County studies. These themes are the foundation of Vision 2050 and will be supported through the plan recommendations.
Growth Scenarios
Three high-level development scenarios were developed to illustrate potential growth patterns to accommodate projected population increases, employment growth, and existing trends.
